[3-365-141] Mother's Day Out 要準備搶註冊了

今天早上教會的樂團排練空檔, 全部學生都在當低頭族, (因為咖啡小朋友不能喝, 出去晃也沒幾分鐘就要回來, 就打打電動查查FB吧)

今天阿秋被轉到另外一間兩歲到三歲的小朋友教室, 上個禮拜因為主要帶的老師沒來, 人手有點不夠, 所以還是呆在原來的小小朋友那一間, 今天聽說她們全部都在外頭的playground玩, 玩到禮拜快結束才回來, 所以我去接她的時候, 她們都正在吃點心, 每個人發到一小杯的小金魚餅乾吃。

結果老母我在外頭跟阿秋擠眉弄眼, 還玩捉迷藏, 但她大小姐就是乖乖的坐著那邊吃, 一邊哈哈笑看著我 (啊但是都不走過來是怎麼樣?) 反而其他的小朋友覺得我很耍寶, 也看著我跟我玩....

後來等她吃完, 老師牽她的手要出來教室的時候, 阿秋回頭去桌上拿她的杯子, 因為她吃完了, 想要丟到垃圾桶, 老師稱讚她好乖, 結果一出教室的門, 馬上躺在地上不起來... 不要回家啦!!

今天也拿了下週五要搶註冊的Mother's Day Out 的表格, 基本上是當天早上九點在網路上報名, 如果有搶到, 一週內把剩下的表格送進去, 如果沒搶到就....排候補了。

報名的優先順序是1. 目前的教會會員+目前的學生 2. 不是會員但是目前孩子是這的學生 3. 目前的會員+新學生 4, 不是會員+新學生, 所以希望前面兩個順位的小朋友多一點畢業去Kindergarten, 這樣我早上九點一按下去....希望能搶得到啦!!

今天教會的兒童事工主任, 又提醒我要報名, 她說她覺得阿秋應該來學校會很開心 (對啊, 都不想回家), 我也覺得阿秋目前需要學的是跟別的小朋友一起玩, 還有能獨立一點, 順便讓老師幫我管管Terrible 2, 所以看了課程內容, 覺得每一樣都阿秋都會喜歡, 跟大熊討論過後, 決定幫她報2015秋天的Mother's Day Out, 看看能不能報到禮拜二四的。

18M到兩歲的課程目標是:

18 month & 2 Year Old Curriculum Overview

The main focus for our 18mos/2's class is social development and to gain independence from mom and dad. As we share with them the love of Jesus Christ, we want our children to become comfortable in a classroom setting away from home. A child's work is play and we provide time for children to explore and discover the beautiful world God created. Children will learn important skills like sharing, taking turns, following directions, and working together. These skills prepare them for the upcoming years of school and will be practiced each day.

Some of the things you will see in our 18mos/2's classrooms are:

Fine and Gross Motor Development

• Working with puzzles, blocks and other manipulatives.
• Tearing paper.
• Lacing beads.
• Creating with play dough.
• Cutting with scissors.
• Drawing, finger and brush painting.
• Movement activities (i.e.:  swirling a ribbon, bouncing a ball, songs with actions).
• Running, climbing, and jumping outside
• Exploring the outdoors
• Digging, sifting and pouring

Language and Social Development

• Listening to stories.
• Books and Flannel Boards
• Dramatic play with dress-up clothes, puppets, kitchens, doll houses, cars and trucks.
• Singing songs and poems.
• Counting objects.
• Questions/Answers.
• Discussing daily events and activities.
• Introducing colors and shapes.
• Transitioning from solitary play to parallel play
• Modeling good manners
• Sharing space while painting or playing in centers
• Learning to be more like Christ in all we do

另外我也發現有個Bridge Program, 就是幫助五歲準備上幼稚園, 但很多基本能力還不行的小朋友, 可以補強的課程, 裡面還附了一張幼稚園入學應該要會的一些事情:

原來上幼稚園前, 只要會數到20就好了喔? 會不會太簡單啊....XD

每個月學費其實算低了, 比起Sugar Land應該算是物美價廉了! 

雖然有點擔心阿秋會變成只說英文, 不過我想一週去兩天, 我還有三天可以跟她說中文, 應該沒問題。

不管講甚麼文, 乖乖就好啦! 不要像這樣掐著安娜, 放上椅子卡住哀哀叫, 但又不給老母幫忙.....*嘆氣!!*
